I apologize for taking so long to get a new chapter up for you. I have been toiling very hard to finish the Old Testament, and have usually been so exhausted by the end of each day that I have not had the energy to post new chapters.

Interesting note: The Douay-Rheims differs in its naming of this book. Most versions call this and the following book “1 Samuel” and “2 Samuel”. The Douay calls them “1 Kings” and “2 Kings”, with the next two books being “3 Kings” and “4 Kings”. (Most other versions call the last two “1 Kings” and “2 Kings”.

As you might assume, the recording of the book of Numbers was a bit of a challenge, with all the oh-so-uncomon names! I’ll post one of the chapters if some of you ask for it. 
Today, I am posting the fifth chapter of Deuteronomy for you.
