Making Good Progress!
Even though I haven’t posted anything here for several weeks, rest assured that we’re making good progress!
I’ve had my head down and my nose to the grindstone. Since my last post, I have completed Ecclesisticus, Baruch, 1 and 2 Maccabees, Lamentations, and forty-one chapters of Isaiah. (If you’re paying attention, you’ll notice that all the deuterocanonical books have now been done.)
The truth is that I’ve been pretty tired by the end of each day, and I sort of have to choose between posting a chapter here, and being a husband and dad. Since I have to be closed up in the studio all day long, by the time I’m through recording, I can’t wait to be with my family.
Go figure.
I’ll try to do better at keeping everyone in the loop regarding the progress of the project.
Just so you know, I am trying with all my might to get the Old Testament completed in time for you to have it in your hands (ears?) by Christmas.
I would very much appreciate your prayers!

This is great news! If you could make the Deuterocanonicals available as a separate group, I bet a lot of people would snatch them up right away and later come back for the rest of the Old Testament. I know I would.
Funny you should ask that, Russ. The publisher has told me that they are going to make the Deuterocanonicals available as a set. I will post here on the blog as soon as it becomes available.
